Tips for anchoring " 2 "

We always keep notes of water level heights. We usually stay in certain specific spots with pre dug holes or drilled spots up higher than what we think the water level will be the next year. We use 3 foot axles pre drilled and have never had a worry. We just run the ropes from back to what ever cleat with the proper angle to the 2 axles. 15 years houseboating on LP we've seen it all!

That's a good idea.. We've always dug our own holes.. just scouting out places to park as we go... This last time at powell was amazing until the last day when we were smashed with 24 hours of 40mph winds. we were pretty unsure about the ropes, the houseboat was like a big sail, but we had 2 anchors from each corner of the back of the boat and we were just fine.
