Mike and Laura Robinson - Sunrise Peak customers since 2008

Mike and Laura Robinson got into houseboating in 2003.  They began by renting 60' to 65' houseboats at Lake Mead before discovering the paradise which is Lake Powell.  At Lake Powell, they rented the nicest 75' houseboats and "spent a fortune doing so" according to Mike.

In 2008, Mike and Laura attended the Utah Boat Show and discovered the option of buying a share in a much nicer houseboat than what they had rented, but at a fraction of the cost.

The Robinsons purchased their first share on the houseboat, Redrocks, in 2008. But when the new yacht style houseboats became available in 2012, they made the move to the houseboat, Ho'okipa.  3 years later they needed more space and Sunrise Peak helped sell their shares in both Ho'okipa and Red Rocks so that they could move to Atlas, a  75' x 22' houseboat located at Antelope Point Marina.

Mike said this about the process: "Working with Sunrise Peak has been great. They helped us get into nice houseboats with good management and helped us find new buyers—at no charge—for our shares on Red Rocks and Ho'okipa when we needed to move to a bigger boat."

In 2018, Mike and Laura are moving one more time to the new Adonia Yachts houseboat, Del Sol. According to Mike: "I'm a builder and after walking through the new Adonia Yachts houseboats, the quality surpasses that of any other houseboat we have owned—so we had to make the move."
